Her basket was always full
Though not of other people’s crumbs
Of full nourishment; honesty love
Her basket was overflowing with brim
So that she could share
She so loved to share.
They said they saw in her the seldom to dream
For she would always dream
Its who she was
Through the net of the curtain at dawn
I awaken her mantra
Footsteps through the forest led her to starvation so she could fill her cup
Of worthy
He had taken from her many moons ago.
We can remain here my love, frozen and stuck, or we can move on with the warmth of the Sun
She tilted her head
Said a simple yes and smiled that smile through the eyes not the cheeks
You know the one where heaven radiates in the eyes…
She said yes to a life
Not to somebody else but herself
She said Yes to her self.
