Love now
As we walked around I asked
about all the bodies that needed to be held.
I saw the bluest of eyes
and a man that wanted to play
At just being a child.
I saw make up given out
tender hands to warm voice
paints and powder pots
I saw a woman lying down
so content was her voice that others came to feed her and grow her with joy.
I saw a hospital ward but it wasn’t a void. There was a hive of activity; all baking and warmth
There was flour dusted around the softest of palms
wrinkles in eyes from giggling with joy
i smelt neroli, jasmine and rose
names were being called to take the next being into massage
the doors were all open, as well as the windows
Nature calls for us to go when we need to. That I Know
The moon, the sun, the stars
Became our worship like we had always known.
Birds flew in
there were no walls here to cage.
Listening, language of paternity, wisdom of Mothering
tendering hands to tendering eyes
wrists were sparkling from heaven that’s glistening
the more that we give there is reason to share.
Wait.
said One voice.
All holy and loud
Have i done enough?
There was salt from her eyes
the thickness of life here had taken its toll, there was shadow after shadow, she was down on the floor.
Now, on the floor, all gently lightly now
‘have i done enough’?
a whisper a cry
as i raised her off the floor. Brought her to hug all BIG and expanse
brought her to body, of course my darling have.
all close to fingers and toes and to eyes
felling vitality of beauty, vitality alive
have i done enough?
merely an echo off the walls
as we lit a bonfire her energy arrived….
